  • What the review covers

    The interfaces the part mates with, how it is used, the loads and temperatures it sees, and whether FDM in the right material is a reasonable fit.

  • What modelling costs

    A replacement usually needs CAD from the sample. That is design work at $145 an hour, one-hour minimum, scoped before it starts and quoted beside the print.

  • Material is a decision

    Heat, sunlight, chemicals, flex, and load across the layers change the answer. The material is agreed in the quote, not assumed.

  • When plastic is not the answer

    Some parts want metal or another process. We say so in the first reply and can assess a CNC handoff for parts that qualify.
